SignVET – Gateway to Equity: Engaging Deaf Students in VET

The SignVET project aims to tackle the widespread lack of sign language accessibility in vocational education across Europe. By equipping VET institutions with innovative tools and training, the project empowers educators to create course materials in national sign languages and fosters inclusive learning environments for both deaf and hearing students.
SignVET also encourages hearing students to develop basic sign language skills, promoting better communication, inclusion, and employability.
EACG’s Role:
As Dissemination and Quality Assurance Leaders, the European Association of Career Guidance (EACG) coordinates the project’s communication strategy and impact activities. EACG ensures high visibility across European networks, engages key stakeholders, promotes inclusive education policies, and guarantees the quality of all dissemination outputs and project deliverables.
